The device
This trip will be undertaken aboard a 2006 Yamaha FJR 1300. My particular FJR has been outfitted with heated hand grips, hand guards, automotive style cruise control, controls for electrically heated clothing, Quest 2 GPS, iPod Shuffle, and various accessory electrical connections.

Opening credits
This blog concerns itself with the motorcycle travels of one man.
My first documented trip will begin in either Seattle, Washington or Vancouver, BC, Canada. The eventual destination is Dallas, Texas, but it may continue from there. Planned starting date is May 30, 2008.
